Mr. Som Gurung

Managing Director

Born in Dhading district, Mr. Som Gurung has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Tribhuwan University, Kathmandu. He started his career as a trekking leader with Thin Air Adventure Pvt. Ltd. With more than a decade’s experience in organising treks, tours and other travel activities in Nepal, India, Bhutan and Tibet, he is now the Chairman of this company.

He has undergone the tourist guide training conducted by Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management and has also participated in First Aid Training conducted by Kathmandu Environment and Education Project (KEEP).

He has participated in Nepal Himalaya Tourism Festival held in London in 2004 and has also visited Thailand, Hong Kong, Qatar and India.

Maciej Abramowicz

Exclusive Manager for Poland

Mr. Maciej is tourism professional from Poland. He has been working as an Exclusive Manager for Poland, trekking and tours (trip) Planner forThin Air Adventure Pvt. Ltd.

After trekking the Himalaya region a number of times Maciej has developed an overwhelming passion for Nepal and joined forces with us.

Now he is living and working at our Exclusive manager for Poland, Together he is operating trekking and tours in Nepal from Thin Air Adventure and incorporating current systems with modern ideas, enabling us to offer an excellent international level of service to all our clients from beginning to end.

Mr .William Hwang

Marketing Representative & Consultant

Mr. Hwang is a tourism professional from Taiwan. He has been working as a group Leader and trip Planner for Thin Air Adventure Pvt. Ltd. , Nepal since 1996. Many of our unique itineraries and programs are developed by or in consultation with Mr. Hwang. His expert advice is just a click away. In addition to his professional expertise Mr. Hwang has also contributed his bit to the society. Mr. Hwang in coordination with the company has developed and run several village school projects particularly in Dolpo. He has been providing school dresses and other necessary educational materials such as pencils, books, exercise-books, color crayons etc. for students in those regions.

Mr. Kale Gurung

Trekking Cook

Born in Dhading district of Nepal, he has been working as a cook since past 18 years. He started his career as a kitchen assistant in camping treks. He then took a Cook training conducted by the Hotel Management and Tourism Training Centre Nepal which along with his experience as a kitchen assistant helped him become a cook.
 
His ability to prepare varieties of international cuisine is well known in the travel and trekking fraternity of Nepal. His delicacies has satisfied the gourmet of tourists from countries and thus he is considered an vital member of the Company team.
He addition to becoming a professional cook, he is also excellent guide in Tea House Treks. He is trained in First Aid and Leadership from KEEP.

Shiva Gurung

Trekking Guide

Mr. Shiva Gurung is our professional guide of thin airadventure since 2008.  He belongs to Sankosh in the beautiful district of Dhading and pursuing his Bachelor level studies Journalism in Kathmandu. On the experiences of working in the tourism industry, he says that he loves his work in mountain and dedicated towards it.
