Mardi Himal trekking is one of the most wonderful trekking destinations in the Annapurna region. Mardi Himal is located at the southern side of Mt. Annapurna, the 10th world´s tallest peak, from where you will have superb scenery of the mountains namely Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Machhapuchre, Mt. Dhaulagiri among others located in the Annapurna region.

Mardi Himal Trek can also be categorized to be low altitude trekking, the maximum height you reach is 4,500 m. The trekking trail is fabulous in the sense that you will have an opportunity to explore the blend of culture of various ethnic groups residing alongside the trail, their unique lifestyles, and incredible landscapes, rocky and sloppy hills. Mardi Himal is a triangular-shaped ridge situated a the southern slope of Mt Machapuchhare, from where you will have amazing views of the greenery valley below, and the snow-capped majestic mountains above the side.

Mardi Himal Trekking begins with a short flight or one-day drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and then the trail continues along Suiket Phedi. The trail then continues to Dhampus. Alongside Mardi Khola, the trail finally takes you to Mardi Himal base camp. After making an excursion all around, you return back to Pokhara, subsequently to Kathmandu.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Morning time Kathmandu City Tour. PM: Trek briefing about tomorrow programs, overnight at hotel.
Day 03: About 6hrs drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by private vehicle or tourist bus about, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: After breakfast, meet trekking crew and drive half an hour to Phedi and trek to Pothana (1950 m.) at overnights tent [BLD]
Day 05: Trek to Kote (2600m.). [BLD]
Day 06: Trek to Ekle Deurali (3500m.). [BLD]
Day 07: Trek to Bagale Deurali (3900m.). [BLD]
Day 08: Hike to Mardi Himal Case Camp (4450m.), then back to Bagale Deurali for overnight stay. [BLD]
Day 09: Trek to Sirikha Kharka (3460m.). [BLD]
Day 10: Trek to Karchon (3682m.). [BLD]
Day 11: Trek to Samsur Deurali (2939m.). [BLD]
Day 12: Trek to Hile Kharka (2160m.). [BLD]
Day 13: Trek to Rimding Village (1430m.). [BLD]
Day 14: Trek to Annate Thanti, then drive to Pokhara, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 15: Drive back or fly back from Pokhara to Kathmandu, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 16: Free day for independent sightseeing/shopping in Kathmandu, Overnight at hotel.
Day 17: Airport for final departure.
