Mt. Kanchenjunga trek (8,586 m.) is the world’s third highest mountains, located in the eastern part of Nepal, located at the border of Nepal and Sikkim (India). Kanchenjunga trek is one of the most loved trekking destinations for having stunning views of some of the highest mountains like, Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586 m.) Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Makalu (8,463 m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m) and a number of other Himalayas. Besides Himalayan vistas, you will also be amazed with incredible landscapes, rocky hills terraced farm fields, steamy jungle full of flora and fauna, the glacial lakes, mountain passes and many more. Kanchenjunga base camp trek is also popular for yet unspoiled conservation areas. It is mainly protected by Kanchanjunga Conservation Area, which is home to amazing colored rhododendron flower, various species of herbal plants and being home to over 250 species of birds and wildlife, deer and wild sheep and many more. Kanchenjunga trek begins with flight from Kathmandu to Biratnagar, subsequently to Taplejung and then continue trekking to Mitlung, Chirwa, Seathum, Amjilossa and finally you reach at Ghunsa and take a rest for acclimatization. Once you are ready you continue trekking to Khambachen and continue trekking to Lhonak, Pang Pema and then get back to Ghunsa again, subsequently continue trekking to Mirgin La, Tseram, Oktang, Lamite, Yamphudin, Phonphe, Khunjari and finally get back to Suketar and the fly back to Biratnagar and subsequently to Kathmandu.
