Everest east trekking is also known to be Everest Kangshung face trekking. This is one another most popular trekking trip in the Everest region, offering you the most amazing mountain sceneries, incredible landscapes, glaciers, and glacial lakes, picturesque yak pastures, endless series of spectacular panorama and so on. This is relatively the least known trekking trips in the Everest region. The trail no doubt passes through high mountain passes namely Shao La pass (4,915 m) and Langma La Pass (5,200 m) and pass through mountain valleys Kharta and the Kama from where you will have amazing views of the snow capped Himalayas, you really have amazing experience of reaching to the high mountain peaks and have amazing views of the world’s highest peak Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,382 m) and Mt. Makalu (8,463 m).
Everest east trekking begins with a short flight from Kathmandu to Lasha and then have a drive to Gyantse, Shigatse, Shegar and then finally reach at Kharta, from where you begin your trekking to Dambuk, Shaug Tsho and then pass Shao La pass and then continue trekking to Shalung Tso, Pethang Ringmo and finally reach at Kangshung base camp, you will explore all around, take snaps with the backdrop of the mountain and then pass Langma La Pass and then retrace back to Kharta and then drive back to Zhangmu, Nepal China border and subsequently drive back to Kathmandu.
