The trip starting right from Paro, the international airport, you will have breathtaking sightseeing around Drugyal Dzong, Wang Chu and then head up to Thimphu, the central Bhutan. Next day you will continue your journey to Jakar (Bumthang), the land of myth and mystery, where you will listen about the tales of the great Guru Padmasambhava, who said to have performed formidable feats and miracles and then you will have dazzling view of Jakar Dzong, also known as the castle of the white bird and then you start your real trekking to the higher altitude.
You first climb up from Bumthang to Gorsum, through dense forest of spruce, hemlock, cypress, juniper, you will then reach at Lungsum and then at Dur Tsachu via Tsochenchen and have a rest a day for relax and enjoy with sceneries of the area.
