Trip Description

Panchase Poonhill Trek  is merges the tour of two different outstanding Himalayan view spot into a single trek. Panchase being the highest hill of this area offers the commanding view of the great Himalayas, green valleys, lakes and terrace fields of mid hill Nepal where as Poon hill provides the panoramic close up view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range. Panchase known as "panch dham" in Hindu sacred manuscript has gained popularity as a religious site in Nepal. It´s rare vegetation of herbs and plants, green blossoming forests and uncommon wildlife is simply bind blowing.

 

Panchase Poonhill Trek is suitable to all sorts of people involving light walking on well travelled fine trails up to maximum altitude of 3240m at Poon hill. The trek offers rich varied bio diversity, wildlife, panoramic view of mountains, spectacular villages and mid hill landscapes, in addition to the experience of diverse culture and tradition of central Nepal. This is a well planned camping trek managed by Thin Air Adventure and everything is handled by our experienced team of Guides, porters and other staffs.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, pick up from airport and transfer to hotel of your choice. Rest and refreshments, then slight briefing about the trip and evening free for personal activities.

Day 02: 6 7 hours drive to the beautiful lake city of Pokhara. on the way to Pokhara you can see impressive view of large rivers like Trishuli and Marsyangdi flowing along the green and terrace farmed hills of Nepal. After reaching Pokhara you can explore around lakeside and overnight camp at the side of Fewa Lake.

Day 03: About half hour drive to Khare khola near Pokhara. Start the trek from Khare Khola to Bumti situated at the altitude of 1500m is our campsite for nightstay. we reach Bumti after 4 hours of trekking through the terrace farm fields, small villages, forests etc and

Day 04: After having breakfast we resume our trek towards Panchase Bhanjyang(2100m) which takes 5 6 hours while walking gently. On the way to Panchase Bhanjyang one can see rare species of aromatic plants, emerald forests of firs, Rhododendron and Sal, various wildlife and cultural villages of Gurungs. Over night at tented camp in Phanchase Bhanjyang.

Day 05: Early morning visit to Panchase hill at the altitude of 2510m for the glittering view of sunrise. The view of mountains on first rays of sunlight is simply awesome, turning the white peaks to red in color. 5 6 hours trek down to Dimuwa(1500m).

Day 06: Trek ascends towards Dobato(2655m) in a well travelled path through the terrace farms, villages of various ethnics, Forests, streams, etc for about 6 7 hours and overnight at Dobato on tents. We have our lunch on the way to dobato prepared by our cooks, our crew members always walk in fast pace leaving us far behind them and prepare food or settle camps prior to our arrival.

Day 07: We start our trek as soon we finish our Breakfast in dobato and will reach Jaljale(2975m) for overnight at camp before dark. The trek duration is 6 hours. On the way, one can enjoy rich bio diversity, wild life and unique settlement as well as superior view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range.

Day 08: Trek to Fulbari at the altitude of 2800m and situated at the back hill of Ghorepani and camping. The trek includes 4 5 hours of walking up and downhill through the forests of Mostly Rhododendron and firs on stone stairs or well travelled easy trails.

Day 09: Morning visit to Poonhill(3200m) for the best close up panoramic view of Himalayas and sunrise over the Himalayas. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I/II/IV/south, Nilgiri, Hiunchuli and many other snow capped peaks are the Mountains we see. After breakfast trek to Tirkhedungha, which takes around 5 6 hours to accomplish and overnight at tented camp.

Day 10: Trek to Nayapul(1050m), near Pokhara. It takes 4 hours to reach Nayapul and 1 hour drive to Pokhara and overnight at Hotel. . Along the trail, one can have opportunity to penetrate small villages, view magnificent waterfalls and walk through the dense forests and farmed fields. You can spend rest of the day exploring, boating, and resting near Lakeside.

Day 11: Drive to Kathmandu by tourist bus, which normally takes 7 hours or 30 minutes flight to Kathmandu. You can enjoy the great view of Nepal´s mid hill landscapes and vast rivers. Transfer to hotel after reaching Kathmandu.

Day 12: Departure to your destination or commence other program and extend your stay in Nepal.
