Ghorepani Poon hill trek is one of the short, by far the most popular trekking destinations in the north western Nepal, in the Annapurna trekking region. Poon Hill trek package is the best view point in order to have an impressive scene of the snow capped mountains located in the Annapurna region. From this view point you will have amazing sceneries of a number of majestic mountains including of Mt. Annapurna I (8,091 m), Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Mt. Annapurna II (7937 m.) , Mt. Annapurna III (7,555 m), Mt. Annapurna IV (7,525 m), Mt. Annapurna south (7,219 m), Mt. Nilgiri (7,041 m), Mt. Fishtail also called Mt. Machhapuchhare (6,998 m), Mt. Hiunchuli (6,441 m), Mt. Lamjung Himal (6986m) among others. Besides enjoying with the incredible sceneries of the mountains, you will have time to spend in the beautiful village of various ethnic groups, chitchat with them, and explore their unique lifestyles, culture, diverse range of flora and fauna and many more. The beautiful rhododendron forests in the Ghorepani as well as in the Ghandruk, located at the same trekking trail are really stunning with the color and beauty of the flowers in bloom. 
Ghorepani Poon hill trek is regarded to be the low altitude trekking, the maximum height you reach while having this trekking is the 4,000 m, but you will have utmost enjoyment, as of taking snaps of the incredible sceneries of the mountains in the region, exploring of the beautiful settlement of ethnic groups namely of Gurung, Thakali, Magar and others, and have astonishing scenes of their slat roofed houses, their unique culture, customs, lifestyles and what not. Since the trail goes through the well developed trails, tea house trekking package can also be organized in this trekking destination. 
Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking begins with a short flight or one day drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and then the trail continues through terraced foothills alongside Dhampus Ridge and passes through Landrung and Chomrong, the famous settlement of Gurng ethnic groups and finally you will reach at Tatopani (natural hot spring) at Ghorepani, and have a short hike to Poon Hill for having the splendid sunrise view above the Himalayas and have incredible scenes of mountains. Subsequently you will continue trekking to Ghasa Tukuche Marpha village (one of the best apple garden in Nepal) and reach to Muktinath, where you will explore the Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage and then finally return back to Jomsom then you will fly back to Pokhara and subsequently to Kathmandu.
 

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, pick up and transfer to Hotel of your choice. After completing some official formalities you get free time to rest or explore local market around Thamel.

Day 02: Whole day guided sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley. Places include Pashuaptinath Temple, Kathmandu durbar square, Swayambhu stupa, Patan durbar square, etc. Pashupatinath Temple area, Bhaktapur durbar square is listed as World heritage sites.
 
Day 03: Six hour drive from Kathmandu to the lakes city of Pokhara. Transfer to Hotel of your choice. Pokhara is popular for its Natural Beauty. It offers close view of mountains including Annapurna, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchure(Fish tail mountain) etc.
 
Day 04: Morning drive to Nayapul (1 hr drive from Pokhara)after having breakfast. Trek from Nayapul (Birethati) to Tikhedhunga(1577m), it takes around 5 6 hour. Trail passes through Villages, rivers, streams, forest and paddy fields.
 
Day 05 : six hour trek to Ghorepati situated ataltitude of 2874m. We can see beautiful view of Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m.), Hiunchuli (6441m.), and Annapurna south (7219m) on our way to Ghorepani. Ghorepani is a inhabited mostly by Gurungs people.
 
Day 06 : Early morning hike to Poon Hill(3240m) for the breathtaking sunrise over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhare (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) Etc. After descending Ghorepani we will have breakfast and continue trek to Tadapani(2675m) for 5 hours.
 
Day 07: Trek to Ghandruk (1940m), Ghandruk is a beautiful Gurung village with Nepali style houses. From Ghandruk Fishtail (two) peak of Macchapuchure can be seen at almost eye on level accompanied with other peaks of Annapurna region. It takes about four hour. Trails are laid on Rhododendron, Bamboo, and oak forests.
 
Day 08 : Trek from Ghandruk to Birepathi(1065m) which takes 4 5 hours and then one hour drive to City of Pokhara where you can rest and enjoy the evening or shop.
 
Day 09: About six hour tourist bus drive towards Kathmandu. Fair view of beautiful River trisuli along road side. Evening free for personal activities like shopping,rest or exploring around Thamel.
 
Day 10: Drive to International Airport for departure or extend your stay in Nepal.
